Tom Garrett

A career in computer based process automation engineering has enabled Tom to travel the world – China, Singapore, Australia, India, the Middle East, many countries in Europe and throughout the U.S.  Through these travels, Tom seen and enjoyed a diversity of cultures and people and also personally visited some of the magnificent historic and scenic sights in each of these countries. 

An avid student of photography for over 30 years, Tom always brought his camera along on each trip which helped to grow his understanding of both the technical and subtle nuances of photography.  With the emergence of digital based photography, which aligns with his computer skills and knowledge, Tom has developed and applied a wide range of technology and techniques to create his photographic work. 

Tom recently won first prize in a photo contest in Colorado and had his work selected for display in a public art display.  Tom recently retired from his process automation career and travels extensively to photograph and develop new additions to his portfolio and to participate in art festivals across the U.S.
